Ghatte Ki Karhi

Diffrent style to make karhi.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 5 tbsp gram flour
    • salt to taste
    • red chillie powder to taste
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric
    • 1 pinch of hing
    • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
    • 1/4 cumin powder
    • 1 tsp carom powder
    • 1 green chillie
    • 1/2 cup yogurt
    • 4 cup water
    • 2 tbsp gram flour
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
    • salt to taste


    1. Heat a pot and add all ingredients of karhi.
    2. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients of ghatte and knead a hard dough of it.
    3. Make the rolls of this dough and put it in the boiling water and boil it for 10-15 minutes.
    4. Remove from the water and cut into the pieces.
    5. Heat a oil and add fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds and curry powder when it pop-up then include ghatte and fry it.
    6. Now add this in the karhi and cook it with low flame for 15-20 minutes.
    7. serve it with boil rice.
