Cabbage-Raw Banana Poriyal(Stir-Fry)

Stir Fried Cabbage and grated raw-banana

Very tasty Cabbage-Raw Banana Poriyal(Side-dish) in 12 mins time.This can be taken with rice or Chapathi or Idli etc.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 50 gm Cabbage- Sliced fine
    • 1 Raw Banana - peeled and grated
    • 1/2 carrot - grated
    • 1 Onion- Chopped fine
    • 2 tbsp green peas - optional
    • 3 tbsp grated coconut
    • ground masala(coarsely ground 1 small sambar onion,1 green chilli and 1 tsp cumin seeds)
    • 2 tsp refined oil
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    • few curry  and coriander leaves
    • 3/4 cup water


    1. Take a microwave bowl and add refined oil,cumin seeds, mustard seeds,few curry and coriander leaves. Microwave this on high for a min.
    2. Take the bowl out and add all other ingredients and mix well.Microwave this on high for 11 mins.
    3. Serve this side-dish with rice or chapathi or Idli.
