Tomato Pachadi

Tomato pieces cooked with spices

Very tasty Tomato Pachadi(Side-dish) in 15 mins time.This can be taken with rice or Chapathi or Idli etc.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 150 gm Tomatoes-Put in Boiled water for a min and peel and chop
    • 1 Onion- Chopped fine
    • 2 tbsp grated coconut ground coarsely ( with 1 small sambar onion,2 red chillies,1 garlic flake and 1 tsp cumin seeds)
    • 2 tsp refined oil
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    • few curry  and coriander leaves
    • 1 cup water

    Directions

    1. Take a microwave bowl and add refined oil,chopped onions,cumin seeds, mustard seeds,few curry and coriander leaves. Microwave this on high for a min.
    2. Take the bowl out and add all other ingredients and mix well.Microwave this on high for 14 mins.
    3. Serve this side-dish with rice or chapathi or Idli.
