Chicken chilli

Chicken chilli is a dry dish. Can be served with stir fried haakka noodles also.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1/2 kg of fresh boneless chicken
    • 44 g maggi chicken stock cubes .
    • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste or finely chopped garlic.
    • 1 tbsp soya sauce
    • 1 tbsp cornflour
    • 1 tsp vinegar
    • 5 - 6 chopped green chillies
    • 1 tsp ajinomoto
    • 1/2 cup diced onions
    • 1/2 cup diced capsicums
    • 1 tsp white pepper powder
    • Salt to taste (not required  if you use maggi chicken stock cubes)
    • Oil for frying

    Directions

    1. Marinate the chicken pieces with , pepper, garlic paste, soya sauce and cornflour for half an hour.
    2. Now heat oil in a pan and add green chillies, the marinade, stir fry and cook till chicken is done.
    3. Add onions, capsicum and soya sauce. Cook for 1 minute.
    4. Add vinegar and serve hot.

    Excellent! I tried this recipe and it came out really good. I would like to recommend adding 1/2 cup liquid chicken stock instead of chicken stock cubes, right after the chicken is cooked and before adding the onions and capsicum/green bell pepper. It also says in the recipe to add soya sauce twice, but I only added 1 tbsp. in the marinade and not while cooking the onions and capsicum/green bell pepper. Overall I will definitely be making this dish again. Thank you!
