Yet another recipe of masala chicken.Goes well with fries ,sauted potatoes or parathas.
non vegetarian 4 servings
1 chicken(cut into pieces), here you can use all parts of chicken or you buy legs only or breasts ,depends what you want.
3 tomatoes(peeled and grated)
3 tsp of green or red chilly paste.
4 tsp of oil.
2 tbsp of tomato puree.
Coriander leaves for garnishing.
3 tsp of dhania jeera powder.
3 tsp of ginger,garlic paste.
2 tsp of jeera.
Clean chicken and put in pot with 2 tsp of ginger, galic paste,salt and 1 1/2 cups water,let i boil until just tender and water remains little.
Heat oil, add jeera ,when it splutters ,add grated tomato,remaining ginger,garlic paste,chilly paste ,and tomato puree,saute for 2 mins .add boiled chicken with soup and dhania jeera powder,mix properly ,lower the heat and cook till dry(dont let it dry very much) and chicken done .
Remove from fire ,garnish with corriander leaves .
