Bajri ke wade

simple but delicious vade

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 2 cup bajri (millet) flour
    • 3-4 tsp sesame seeds
    • salt to taste
    • oil to fry
    • 2 tsp red chilly powder
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 cup curd
    • pinch of ajwain


    1. Take bajri flour in one container, add all spices , ajwain , 2 tsp oil & sesame seeds in it.
    2. mix all these ingredients properly & then add curd.
    3. make a soften dough og it.
    4. divide the dough in to small portions & make vada of it
    5. heat a oil & deep fry all vada's on very low flame.





    Dear Kirti,I love bajri wadas.I add 1/2 cup wheat flour, garlic paste and green chilly paste also and allow it to rest for 4 hrs.They are tastier try it.



    Hi Kirti, Will the curd & 2 tbsp oil be enough to make a wade batter or do u need to add some water too? Thanks.
