6 breasts of chicken(500gms)
1 1/2 tsp freshly pounded red chillies.
3 tsp freshly pounded garlic.
juice of 1/2 lemon.
2 tbsps tomato puree.
2 tbsps ghee or margarine.
Wash and pat dry chicken portions. Make deep slits in meat. Mix spices together and add to ghee or margarine.
Smear masala into slits and all over the chicken.Marinate for few hours.Place on greased oven tray- cover with foil and bake medium oven for 40 mins.
Remove foil, dot each breast with butter and bake for 10 mins in hot oven.
Serve with naan or fries.
ALTERNATIVELY: After removing foil ,place slices of thin cheese over breast and put under grill till cheese melts.
Very good recipe and not time taking also.
