When do we add the main/canned chole?
I prefer when the onion and garlic is fried in oil before boiling.

Hey this sounds interesting...... You have added few new steps to the traditional recipe of chole like grinding 1/4 chole with masala. They will really make the gravy thick. Thanks. That'll be very helpful.
The 'Garbanzo beans' in cans smell horrible and they must be thoroughly washed before the beans are used for cooking.
