Peanuts Cake

This is uniquely flavored cake (contains eggs)

Ingredients non vegetarian 10 servings


    • 1 1/2 cups peanuts (roasted and peeled)
    • 2 cups white flour
    • 1/2 tsp soda-bi-carbonate
    • 2 tsps baking powder
    • 1 cup sugar (powdered)
    • 1 tsp cardamom powder
    • 2 eggs
    • 3/4 cup margarine
    • orange food colour
    • 1/4 cup milk

    Directions

    1. Grind peanuts into semi coarse powder.
    2. Sieve flour in a dish,add sugar, soda-bi-carbonate, baking powder, cardamom powder and peanuts powder.
    3. Melt margarine, whisk eggs.
    4. Take out 3 tbsps of egg mixture in a bowl, add orange food colour, mix and keep aside, add remaining egg in margarine, mix well and pour in the flour.
    5. Add milk and mix with hand,the batter should be of dropping consistency. (add more milk if batter is thick).
    6. Pour into a greased baking tray,brush top with egg and colour mixture.
    7. Bake into preheated oven in a medium heat till brown .
    8. Serve with tea or coffee.

    Temp should be of medium heat you adjust your oven on medium heat. Preheat it. 20 mins.

    You can use oil instead of margarine.

    good receipe no doubt about this .but better if you suggest some substitue for margarine
