Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
1 Kg Chicken
1½ tbsp Jeera
1 pod of Garlic
2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Lemon Juice
¼ cup Vinegar
2 Onions (big, chopped)
2 tbsp Coconut oil (optional, substitute with any oil)
Salt to taste
Directions
Grind all ingredients( except onion, coconut oil and chicken) with vinegar. Add very little water and prepare thick, fine paste.
Apply this to the chicken pieces. Add onion chopped and mix well and marinate for 1/2 -1 hour.( if u r in a hurry no need to marinate)
Transfer the chicken along with all marinade to nonstick pan and cook on high flame for few minutes.
When chicken leaves water, cover the chicken and cook on medium flame until almost done.
If it is still watery, increase heat and see that water dries up.
Now add coconut oil to the side of the pan and and cook on high flame for 3-4 mts. Now u can smell nice aroma of roasted jeera and onion in coconut oil.
