Deep fried dumplings

Ingredients
vegetarian
4 servings
1 cup sooji or semolina
1 cup maida
1 cup atta or wheat flour
1 cup rice flour
salt to taste
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
1 tsp jeera
2 onions (optional)
coriander leaves (finely chopped)
1 tbsp butter
oil to fry
Directions
Take all flours and sooji in a big bowl.
Add salt, chillis, finely chopped onions, jeera, coriander leaves and butter and make a hard dough using very little water.
Take a small ball of dough and flatten into thin discs using finger tips on a plastic sheet.
Heat oil in a kadhai and fry vadas in hot oil on medium heat till golden brown.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
