Cream chicken

Kasuri Methi

To cook cream chicken, takes 15-17minutes. You can add more chicken, more onions and garlic if needed for more people. add all the ingredients according to your taste. Donot overcook cream. Cumin seeds are optional but add special flavour to chicken

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 Kg a full chicken or boneless breast
    • 4-5 tsp Kasuri methi (fenugreek leaves)
    • 1 litre of fresh cream
    • 3 Onion
    • 2-3 tea spoons of crushed garlic(can use fresh garlic)
    • Red chilli powder(to tast)
    • Salt (to taste)
    • 1 tsp cumin powder
    • 2-3 tbsp oil


    1. Crush or blend onions in blender.
    2. Put crushed onions and garlic in a pan and put it on medium heat.
    3. When you see no water in onions, add oil and cumin seeds.
    4. Srir until onions are golden brown.
    5. Add salt, cumin powder and red chilli powder and stir through.
    6. Add chicken pieces, stir and when chicken is cooked, add cream (half of the cream first and then bit more depending if you want it with gravy).
    7. finally, add dry Kasuri methi and serve
