Curd can be added at the final stage even after adding the oil & bringing it to a boil if in case you feel that it might split.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 2 Drumsticks vegetable
    • 1 cup White pumpkin
    • 1 cup Turnip
    • 2 Plantains
    • 1 Coconut (whole grated)
    • 6-8 Green chillies
    • Hing [asfoetida]
    • few sprigs of Coriander leaves
    • Salt as per taste
    • 1 cup Thick curd [sour]
    • 100 ml Coconut oil


    1. Clean & chop all the vegetables above mentioned into lengthwise 1” pieces and pressure cook it in a pressure pan with a little water sprinkled on it.
    2. grind the grated coconut , green chilies and  asofoetida  into fine paste
    3. Now add the ground mixture into the cooked vegetables and add salt to it cook for 5 minutes.
    4. now let it cool add the sour curd to it and mix it well again add coconut oil and bring to a boil until it gives good aroma of coconut oil.
    5. Garnish with chopped coriander.
