Try this unusual & new type of Kheer!
This is great. This kheer has a very different texture and sweetness. CARDMOM IS A MUST, since it masks pumpkin smell and gives a nice aroma.
BTW, Samina and Atika begum.....Bottle gourd is "Lauki" which is a totally different dish this one is PUMPKIN. Please try this dish it is yummy.

I agree with Ms. Samina! Kaddu (bottle gourd) is not chopped but instead grated. It is not "unusual & new type of kheer" as said; it is classical Hyderabadi sweet dish, which is as popular as Hyderabadi biryani. Kewra essence, which is made from leaves & flowers, is added to give that green color & essence to the kheer. And most important to add sago dana to make kheer thick enough and taste good.
hi kaddu ki kheer bottle guard is not chpped boiled n mad epaste instead all over the world it is grated n boiled besides let me tell u that kheer is a sweet dish which is eaten cold and in cold dishes ghee is not added.and to kaddu ki kheer sago beans or sago dana is added and kewra essence is added ..ur recipie must be gud in taste but it is not at all kaddu ki kheer ...........if u r interested ask me i will mail u correct recipie
