Water melon Dosa

Very Tasty

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 bowl dosa rice
    • 1 bowl grated cocunut
    • 1 bowl grated white part of water melon
    • Salt to taste
    • Jaggery if required
    • Water in sufficient quantity


    1. Soak Dosa Rice readily available in the market overnight
    2. Grate the white part of water melon after eating the red part of the same on next morning when the batter of dosa is to be prepared
    3. Next morning wash the soaked rice
    4. Grind together soaked rice, grated white part of water melon and grated cocunut
    5. Make the dosa batter by adding water as required, add salt to taste and jaggery if preferred
    6. Spread it on dosa pan
    7. Serve hot  alongwith cocunut and ginger chutney or with honey
