Soak channa overnight & cook the next day in a pressure pan until it gives out 3 whistles.
then in a mixer take about 4 tbs of the cooked channa & make a paste & keep it aside
now in a pan add oil & 6 onions chopped, add sugar & salt.
add the grated ginger & chopped g.chillies & fry the onion mixture until golden brown.
add tomatoes & keep stirring until the tomatoes are pulpy & completely done
add all the dry masala like turmeric powder,chilli powder, garam masala , dhania powder and mix well
now add the channa paste & the whole cooked channa & mix well
cook for 5 mins keep stirring every now & then & turn off the fire
then garnish with the left out chopped onions & coriander mix well before serving.
