Matar rice

Punjabi matar rice

very simple but tasty and yes yummy so yum yum.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 glass rice
    • 1cup peas(matar)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp cumin whole
    • 1 tsp red mirch powder
    • 2 glass of water
    • fresh clintro


    1. First take a big deep pan then add oil,add cumin when start cracking then add peasand all the spices.
    2. Mix well and add 2 glass of water and let it boil for 5-10 min with the pan lid on close ,when you see water is dryed up then close off stove and leave the pan lid on.
    3. Lastly on after 5 min and you make cut fresh clintro on top and enjoy with plain yogurt,or any main dish.
