Corn basin purha( pancake)

My own recipe, tested by me . I also have picture,if selected, i can send you that as well. Amritsari taste, my own home town.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 cup  Corn Flour
    • 1/2  cup  basin( chick peas flour)
    • 1 tbsp yogurt
    • 1/4  cup  water
    • 1/2  tsp   salt
    • 1/4  tsp   red chili powder
    • 1/8  tsp   turmeric (optional)
    • 1/2  tsp   garam masala
    • 2 each spring onion, finely chopped
    • 2 each green chili, finely chopped
    • 2 tbsp  onion, finely chopped
    • 1/2  tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tbsp coriander ( dhania ) leaves, finely chopped
    • 1 tbsp oil, frying purha 

    Directions

    1. Mix all ingredients, except oil. Make a batter, like pancake.
    2. Heat oil, in non stick frying pan, pour  mixure.
    3. Turn side, when small bubble appears.
    4. Cook both sides, make it crispy.
    5. Serve with ketch up or chutney.
    6. Good with indian tea.
