Dahi & Ginger Chicken

Simple Low cal Chicken yet very tasty.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    •  1 small chicken (Boneless 2 pounds / 1 kg, Cut in small 3" pieces)
    •  1 tbsp Oil
    • 1/2 cup beaten Yoghurt/Curd
    • 5-6 slit medium sized green chillies cut in half (u can take out the seeds)
    • Salt to taste
    • 1.5-2 tsp Garam Masala
    •  4" long Ginger Piece, Finely Julienned (come to like 4-5 tbsps)
    • Coriander/Dhaniya leaves, cut. (4-5 tbsps)

     

    Directions

    1. Take Oil in a Non stick Pan Heat it a little, then add the finely julienned ginger/adrak & split green chillies. Let it fry for like 5 mins on med. flame.
    2. Then add cut chicken pieces & let it fry till they look cooked from all sides keep mixing & turning them.
    3. Add garam masala pdr.
    4. Add salt. Mix Well & let cook for 1 minute.
    5. Now add beaten curd, Mix well & cover and cook for a few minutes till it is nearly cooked.
    6. Then add Dhaniya leaves, Mix well & let it cook 2 mins.

      Now your chicken is ready to be served.

    **Variation: For very low cal try w/chicken breast only.**
