Healthy atta poories

Good snack or even light breakfast that childen like.

It is a small snack or a breakfast which is excellent to taste. A good snack for children.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup jawar flour
    • 3/4 cup of wheat flour
    • 1/2 cup rice flour
    • 1/2 cup channa flour(besan)
    • garlic paste
    • 2 small grated carrots(many other things you might like to add- methi, palak, raddish)
    • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
    • Corriender chopped
    • 4-5 Chillies paste
    • pinch of hing
    • ajwain powder
    • haldi powder
    • salt to taste
    • oil to deep fry

    Directions

    1. First, take all the flours in a bowl
    2. Add chilli paste, corriender, garlic paste, salt, hing, Grated carrot, haldi, ajwain powder, chopped onions
    3. Add suffiecient water and mix to form a thick mixture(thicker than chapati mixture)
    4. Take a plastic sheet
    5. Apply a little bit of oil on the sheet. Spread it
    6. Put a small ball of the mixture over the area where the oil has been applied. The intention of this is to avoid the mixture to get stuck to the sheets.
    7. On the ball put another plastic sheet and flatten the ball with the roller or hand to get the shape of a chapati
    8. deep fry the poories in hot oil on medium flame( note: be care ful about the oil.)
    9. Do not burn the poories, they should only get small brown patches
    10. Serve hot with curd or ketchup.
