Lime and Ginger juice

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 nos. Lemon, medium

Lime and Ginger Juice Water 1 cup Yellow colouring 2-3 drops.

Directions

  1. Remove skin of ginger and grind fine in mixie adding water to it.
  2. Strain and keep aside.Remove the juice from the lemons too. Remove seeds.
  3. In a heavy bottom vessel- boil together sugar and ginger juice, stirring all the time, till you get a sticky syrup. Add lime juice, simmer just once and remove from heat.
  4. Add yellow food colouring( cool) and bottle the syrup.
  5. To serve, add 1/4th glass juice in a tall glass tumbler and top it with either iced soda or iced water. Stir once before serving.
