Chana Daal Bhel Puri

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 pound Roasted Chana daal/lentils (4.99$ per pound from Indian Store)
    • ½ cup of finely chopped red onion
    • 2 tsp. of chopped cilantro/dhaniya
    • ¼ cup of lemon juice
    • 2 chopped green chilies
    • ½ tsp of ginger
    • ½ cup of cucumber
    • ½ cup of finely chopped tomato without seeds
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • ¼ vinegar (optional)
    • 2 tsp. of hot sauce

    Directions

    1. Take a big bowl and add all Chana Daal with all dry ingredients.
    2. Mix together and keep it aside before your guests arrive. You can make this ahead of time and keep in cool place.
    3. Now before serving add Lemon juice and hot sauce and garnish with chopped cilantro.
