Egg Halwa

Delicious mix of milk, eggs and sugar

It takes some patience to keep stirring, but you will earn due appreciation.

Ingredients non vegetarian 8 servings

    • 10 cups Milk reduced to 5 cups
    • 5 Eggs
    • ½ tsp. Cardamoms powdered
    • 2 tbsp Ghee
    • 8 tbsp Sugar 
    • 20 pieces lightly fried Cashew nuts
    • 10 pieces Pista 
    • 10 pieces Almonds


    1. Mix beaten eggs and cardamom powder with the milk on low heat and keep stirring constantly till mixture starts sticking to the bottom of the kadai.
    2. Add sugar and keep stirring for another 10 minutes, then add ghee while still stirring.
    3. By this time the mixture should be of biscuit colour and granular.
    4. Garnish with cashew nuts and pieces of Pista/Almonds.
