It Tastes very good with roti as well as poori and u can eat it like that too...is so tempting u just cant stop eating it..better u try it right now....
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 cup mushroom
1 cup peas (frozen better)
2 onions medium sized finely chopped
3 tomato finely made into puree
1 inch cinnamon
2 cardamom
4-5 cashewnuts
1 inch ginger(finely graded)
5-6 garlic flakes(finely grinded into a paste)
salt to taste
1 tsp dhania powder
1 tsp jeera powder
1-2 tsp chilliepowder (as per ur taste)
water if required
4-5 tsp oil
coriander leaves for garnishing..
Directions
Firstly clean the mushrooms .cut them into 2 pieces.
Keep oil in a pan.add cinnamon and cardamom.
Add ginger and garlic..fry it for a 30 sec .add onions fry them untill they r done. Add salt as required.
then add the tomato puree. fry it untill it leaves oil at the edges .
now u can add chilli poder, dhania pwd and jeera powder. fry it for 2 minutes.
now add the cashew paste for a rich gravy.
u can now add mushrooms and matar(peas frozen). fry them for 5-10 minutes.
now finally if u need a gravy kind u can add 1 cup of water.boil it for 2 minutes.
finally decorate it with finely cut coriander leaves.
