Sabut Moong Ka Salan

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings

    • 120 g Green Gram/sabut moong
    • 3 cup of water
    • 1 tsp garlic fine chopped
    • 2 tsp ginger fine chopped
    • 1/2 cup fine sliced onion
    • 2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 cup tomatoes
    • 4 tbsp oil
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala


    1. Wash the daal and soak for 15 minutes.
    2. Squeeze the water and half boil it.
    3. Heat a oil in a pan and add onions when it turns in light golden then add tomatoes.
    4. When tomatoes tender then add ginger garlic, turmeric, coriander and red chilli powder.
    5. Add boil green gram and add 1/2 cup of water when it cooks then add cumin powder and garam masala and cook for 5 minutes.
