pav bahji basically is mouth watering mixture of vegetables served wth buttered bun.spicy dish included in food lovers favourite.
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
1 cup finally chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped tomato
1 cup finely chopped green capsicum
1cup peas
4 big potatoes
medium sized cauliflower
2 medium sized brinjal
1 tbsp haldi
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp dhanya powder
1 tbsp amchur powder
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
lemon juice
1 cup coriander
500 g butter
oil
salt to taste
Directions
peel the skins of potatoes n brinjal cut thm into big pieces.cut cauliflower too n boil them adding some salt till completely done.
take oil in a pan ad 2 spoons of butter heat it add pinch of hing n ginger garlic paste then add chopped onion saute till golden brown then add tomatoes capsicum all the spices haldi chilli powder amchur powder garam masala dhaniya powder n cook for 15 minutes.
now add boiled vegetables and peas into the gravy n mix well. again cook for 15-20 minutes n turn off the flame.
garnish with coriander chopped onion lemon juice and serve with bun (called pav in mumbai)
