Banana rolls

made from raw banana

jains can add fresh bread crumbs instead of potatoes

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 6 raw banana
    • 1 large potato
    • 1 tsp. green chilly finely chopped
    • 1 tbsp. coriander leaves finely chopped
    • 1 tsp. red chilly pwd
    • 1/4 tsp. turmeric pwd
    • 1/4 tsp. cumin pwd
    • 1/4 tsp. clove pwd
    • 1/4 tsp. cinamon pwd
    • 1 tsp. garam masala
    • 1 tsp. lemon juice
    • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
    • salt to taste 
    • 1 tsp. sugar (optional)
    • 1/2 cup vermicelli crushed
    • oil for frying

    Directions

    1. Boil banana and potato in pressure cooker for 4 whistles
    2. cool and mash both 
    3. Add all the masalas
    4. Make rolls and roll it in vermicelli
    5. Deep fry on medium heat till light brown and crisp
    6. Serve hot with pudina chutney or tomato catch up
    7. We can make patties, cutlets, banana wada (like aloo wada), stuff sandwich or stuff parathas also
