    • 2 tsp Oil
    • Tomato and capsicum rings for garnishing

    Directions

    1. In a large vessel, take 5-6 glasses of water and allow it to boil.
    2. When it starts to boil, add the pasta. Boil till the pasta is cooked.
    3. Add little salt and oil while it is boiling. Do not overboil.
    4. Take them out in a strainer and pour cold water over the pasta.
    5. When slightly cool, add some oil to it and toss lightly with hands so that the pasta strips are separated.

    7. Add the mushrooms and cook again for 2-3 min.
    8. Add the milk and when it too gets heated, add the cream. Do not let the cream boil.

    10. Take off the flame and add salt and black pepper along with 1/4 of the grated cheese and mix well.
    11. Add the chilly sauce and mix again lightly.
    12. In a baking dish, spread a layer of the sauce at the bottom. Add a layer of the cheese and then a layer of pasta. Repeat this sequence once more. Then add another layer of sauce at the top and make the final covering with cheese.
    13. Bake in oven at 250 degrees celsius for 20-25 mins till the cheese gets melted and the top is golden.
    14. Decorate with tomato and capsicum rings on top.

How about adding some chopped garlic to the sauteed onions, also 1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs, makes a lot of difference to the finished dish.

when you already add milk in your pasta to make a sauce, then how a person is suppose to seperate sauce to make layers of sauce and pasta for baking........please clear the doubt.
