wedding Rizala

This Rizala is very famous in our weddings. It's easy to prepare yet very delicious. The fragrance of ghee & green chili will make you love it.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 chicken cut into 8 portions.
    • 1/4 c ghee
    • 1 tbsp ginger , garlic paste
    • 1 medium Onion blended smoothly.
    • 7-8  cardamom
    • 1 stick cinnamon
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 c water
    • 1 c milk (made from powder)
    • 1/4 tsp yellow food color
    • 15-20 green chili.


    1. Wash the chicken & put in a cooking pot.
    2. Mix Ghee,ginger garlic paste, Onion, chiki powder, cinnamon, cadamom & water.
    3. Cook over medium heat until chicken in tender & water has evaporated by 3/4 %.
    4. Mix the milk & color then pour over the chicken & allow it to cook over high heat for 5 min, 
    5. Lower the heat to allow ghee to float on top.
    6. make slits in green chili & add to the chicken.
    7. Cover the pot with a lid & simmer for 3 min.
    8. Remove from heat & serve with Puloao.
