Mix besan in beaten curd so that there are no lumps. Add water and mix properly.
Add green chilly paste + ginger paste + amba haldi paste + salt + sugar
Heat ghee in a sauce pan. Add fenugreek seeds + bay leaf + whole red chilly + cinnamon stick + mustard seeds + cumin seeds + cloves + curry leaves in given order.
Add curd mix and cover for 5 sec. Open and let it boil on medium flame
Keep stirring otherwise besan will stick at the bottom
After a boil simmer for 5 minutes
Add coriander leaves and it is done
Plz note Gujaratis don't use turmeric pwd in kadhi and it is thin in consistency
