These handy pita pocket sandwiches can be filled and served ready to eat or u can set up a make-your-own buffet with ingrediants that the kids can choose to suite themselves.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 2 servings
4 pita breads
2 no. chicken breast (in strips cutting)
8 thin slices of tomatoes
1 capsicum ( in strips cutting)
1 slices of onion
1 bunch of lettuce leaves
4 slices of green chillies
2 tbsp olive oil
salt to taste
crushed black pepper to taste
1 fine chopped pickle cucumber
1/4 cup cream
1/4 cup yogurt
Directions
Heat a oil in a sauce pan and soute fry the onion when it turns into a transparent colour then add capsicums and cook it until chicken is tender.
Now add salt and blk pepper and stirr it.
Turn out this mixture from a fire and keep aside.
Take a bowl and put yogurt, cream and beat it very well now add pickle cucumber, blk pepper,salt and mix this mixture.
Cut the pita breads into half make pocket shape then stuffed it with lettuce leaves.2 slices of tomatoes over it,1 slice of green chilli, 2 tbsp yogurt and cream mixture and in last keep the mixture of chicken and capsicums.Do this same method with every bread.
