Crushed Rotis

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 4 rotis (preferably stale) crushed into small pieces
    • 2-3 green chillies
    • 1 onion diced
    • coriander finely chopped
    • salt to taste
    • 1tsp sugar
    • ½ tsp lemon juice
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2 tablespoons oil
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    • 1/2 tsp jeera


    1. Take oil in a frying pan and splutter some mustard seeds along with jeera.
    2. Put onions in it and saute till golden brown.
    3. add green chillies.
    4. put the crushed rotis and the remaining spices.
    5. Add salt to taste.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    7. Serve hot with Garlic sev.

    small quatity of curd and suagr will add on taste..........



    Dear Pallavi,I also make.This time I added tomato + onion + coriander leaves + sev on top of it.Believe me it tasted even better, like bhel.

    you can also add curd or buttermilk and make it like semidry....... we used to make like this...
