Corn Pudding

A wonder recipe with corn, this pudding is yummy!

I have made this recipe originally with trial and error and I really like the pudding!

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

    • 2 eggs
    • 2 cups whole milk
    • 3 tbsps. melted unsalted butter
    • a pinch of cayenne
    • ½ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
    • 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
    • 1 tsp. chopped thyme
    • 1 tsp. salt 1/4 cup sugar
    • 2 cups fresh corn kernels, cut from the cob


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
    3. Beat eggs, one at a time, in a large bowl. Add milk while whisking eggs.
    4. Then add the melted butter, cayenne, nutmeg, parsley, thyme, salt, sugar and corn.Mix to combine.
    5. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.
    6. Place it in a deep roasting pan.
    7. Fill with boiling water until it reaches halfway upto the sides.
    8. Place in an oven. Bake until set for about 30-45 minutes.
    9. Serve immediately or let it set for 30 minutes upto room temperature.
