Fried murg

Fried murg would definitely leave you in no state to eat the main course.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1/2 dressed chicken(cut into 8 pcs)
    • ½ tsp oregano
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1/2 cup cornflour
    • 2 cups corn flakes
    • salt to taste
    • oil for frying
    • 8-10 lettuce leaves



    1. Put small slits on the chicken pieces and marinate it with origano, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, salt and allow it to stand for 2 hours.
    2. Make a batter of cornflour, water and salt.
    3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
    4. Dip the chicken pieces in the cornflour batter, coat generously with corn flakes and deep fry till it turns golden brown in colour.
    5. Serve in a bed of lettuce leaves with tomato sauce.
