Fried Okra

A tasty snack, can also be used as an accompaniment with the main meal. Fast to cook Good to eat!

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

  • 150 gms. Okra
  • 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • Salt to taste, slightly higher recommended
  • ¼ tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil


  1. Chop the lady fingers in small pieces.
  2. Heat the oil till very hot.
  3. Deep fry the ladyfingers on high flame for 1-2 minutes or till they start turning a shade of brown.
  4. Take them out on a blotting paper.
  5. Add salt,red chilli powder and amchur.
  6. Toss and move to a bowl.
  7. Best if eaten while still hot.
