Milk powder does give a very wonderful taste to whichever halwa I have added it to. Even lauki halwa tastes awesome with milk powder.
i think instead of adding milk powder if we add some khoya to it it will taste awesome!!!!
I made this dish and the milk took forever to disappear after I put the gajars in. Is there any other way to cook it faster, because I started to see black stuff coming off the non-stick pan and it started to dissolve with the skim milk. Please let me know if there's any other way. Like if I can put the gajars in when the milk is half boiled or something. I didn't finish the dish. I had to dump the milk because I started to see too much of that black stuff. and it was a brand new pan from safeway. Please help!
