Black chana patties

Instant patties made from leftover chana. A quick snack for the evening, served with kasundi. You can also have it with green chutney or ketchup.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 cup leftover cooked black chana
    • 1 egg
    • pinch of salt
    • oil for deep frying
    • sliced onion, green chilies, lemon wedges and chopped coriander for garnishing
    • kasundi/green chutney/ketchup to serve

    Directions

    1. Cook the chana till completely dry. Cool and then grind.
    2. Mix with the egg and pinch of salt. Form into patties.
    3. Heat oil and fry them few at a time till brown.
    4. Serve, garnished, with kasundi.
