Zataar Macaroni

Macaroni in a mediterranean style

This quick macaroni dish can be had as a snack with evening tea or can be packed for lunch by young and old alike.

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings

  • 1/2 cup macaroni, boiled aldente
  • 1/2 cup spring onions, chopped
  • 3-4 cloves, garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. zataar powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sumac powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 2 green chilies, chopped (opt)

Directions

  1. Heat oil and fry the garlic till light brown. Add the onion and fry till transculent.
  2. Now add the boiled macaroni, chopped green chilies, zataar and sumac powder and salt to taste.
  3. Stir for a minutes and finish it off by adding the chopped spring onion. Mix well and serve hot.
