Masoor kabab

deep fried kababs taste great with pudina chutney.

this kabab goes great as a starter.i have tried it number of times.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    1cup masoor [whole] 4 medium size potatoes. 2tsp green chillies[coarsely crushed] 1tsp ginger paste. 1tsp garlic paste. 4-5 tsp breadcrumbs 1tsp garam masala powder. salt to taste. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder. fresh chopped coriander.

    Directions

    1. Cook the masoor till tender.boil potatoes and mash them when hot.
    2. Mix the masoor,mashed potatoes,green chilly paste, ginger,garlic,salt,bread crumbs,garam masala powder,red chilli powder and fresh finely chopped coriander together and give them a tikki shape.
    3. Dust them into little breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown.
    4. Serve with pudina chutney or tomato ketchup.
