Kolumbi khadkhadla

This simple recipe is very old and has been passed by generations to me by my mother.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    20 Big prawns (shelled, deveined and washed) 1 tbsp Garlic paste 2 tbsp Oil 2 tsp Red chili powder 1 tbsp Garam Masala powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Hing (Asafoetida) Salt to taste


    Heat oil in a pan. Add turmeric and asafoetida. Add prawns, to the oil. Saute for 2 minutes. Add red chili powder and garam masala and salt. Stir with spoon. Add water and cook for 10 minutes on low flame. KOLUMBI KHADKHADLA IS READY.
