Chicken sandwiches

Simple chicken sandwiches

Easy to make, takes about 15-20 mins. Ideal dish for brunch and snacks

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    1/4th kg chicken boneless 1 finely chopped onion 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp ginger paste a pinch of Cinnamon a pinch of powdered Cloves 200g of Mayonaise 3 tsp butter 1/2 small cup grated cheese 5 tsp grounded sugar Salt and pepper a bunch of Salad leaves

    Directions

    1. Clean the chicken put it to boil in water and add 1 finely chopped onion, garlic paste, ginger paste, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and salt.
    2. Cover and boil the chicken until fully cooked.
    3. In the mean time, pour mayonaise in a vessel, add grated cheese, butter, salt, sugar and pepper and mix thoroughly to prepare a homogeneous mixture
    4. Cut salad leaves with a scissor in small strips and add it to the batter.
    5. Strain the cooked chicken and shred it with your hand. The remaining stock can be used to make clear soup.
    6. Add the shredded chicken in the batter.
    7. Take two slices of bread and put the batter in the bread and sandwich is ready.
    8. Grill it if you want. Serve with ketchup.

    Very Good! I tried this recipe and it came out really good. The only thing I would like to recommend is to change the quantity of sugar from 5 tsps. to maybe 2 1/2 tsps. Sugar made the chicken salad taste too sweet. I will definitely be making this recipe again. Thank you!

    it really is mouth watering. i had tried this same recipe with sum chopped boiled egg.. it adds more to the taste .

    Try cardamom instead of clove, I did it by mistake and loved the taste.

    Dear Rupali, I have tried the recipe and I think its just perfect. Thank you for posting it. I used olive oil based mayonnaise, a tip from my Dad. Everyone simply loved them. Regards, Deepali
