Chicken rice soup

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
    • 2 tsp Chopped garlic
    • 1 tsp Chopped ginger
    • 1 tbsp Chopped onion
    • 150 gms Chicken pieces
    • 500 ml. Chicken stock
    • 1 tbsp Red bell pepper
    • 1 tbsp Yellow bell pepper
    • 1 tbsp Capsicum
    • 1 Chopped carrot
    • 1 tbsp Chopped beans
    • 1 tbsp Snow peas
    • 2-3 tbsp Boiled rice
    • Salt to taste
    • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
    • 2-3 tsp Lemon juice
    • 1 tsp Coriander leaves


    1. Heat oil in a pot. Roast garlic, ginger and onion.
    2. Roast chicken pieces, add chicken stock and cook.
    3. Add red, green and yellow bell pepper. Also add carrot, beans and snow peas.
    4. Now add cooked rice and boil. Add salt, black pepper and garam masala.
    5. Finally add lemon juice, coriander leaves and mix.
    6. Chicken rice soup is ready to serve.

    I made the recipe at a time of SOS. My hubby was down with cold and bad throat. The soup additionally with some mint leaves turned out so good that he had portion at one go. His throat was better. My daughter usually fussy about eating liked it too. Thanks a lot.
