Potato Mint Chaat

Zaiqa mein mazidaar khanay mei halka phulka

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
    • 1 tsp coriander seeds
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 6 Potatoes medium sized ( boiled in their jackets ) peeled and cubed
    • 2 cucumbers small peeled seeded and cubed
    • 2 tsp lemon juice
    • One fourth tsp black pepper
    • One forth tsp red pepper
    • 4 oz fresh mint leaves chopped   



    1. In a frying pan quickly roast cumin and coriander seeds and then grind .
    2. Mix the chopped boiled potatoes cucumber tossing in salt and lemon juice .
    3. Add the mint and spices, mixing gently to prevent the potatoes from breaking up .
    4. Garnish with sliced tomatoes

    instead of adding chopped mint leaves. one can add mint puree . it will be properly coated around potatoes and my next suggestion is to add amchoor it will add to the tangy flavour of lemon
