its a very healthy and delicious snack .no oil is added and is steamed.
Ingredients
vegetarian 6 servings
1/2 kg rice flour
1/2 litre boiling water
250gm chana dal soaked in water for 5 hours
1 cup green coriander
10 green chillies
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt according to taste
Directions
Grind the soaked chana dal in a grinder with all the water strained out so that it becomes thick.
Keep the chana dal paste in a bowl, mix chopped coriander and green chillies with turmeric powder and salt with the chana dal in bowl. Keep it aside.
Get the rice flour in a bowl and with hot boiling water make a dough out of it until it becomes smooth.
Take a little of the dough and make a small rounded shape out of it . Take two teaspoons of chana dal and put it between the rounded dough and bend it a little at the sides to make a taco shape out of it.
Take a steam cooker and steam the lolas in it for fifteen minutes.
