Broasted chicken

For all u KFC lovers heres a vsimple n easy recipe for borasted chicken, also check out the garlic chutney to go with it.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 chicken with bone (cut into 6-8 pieces)
    • 2 tbs ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tsp black pepper powder
    • 1 tsp white pepper powder
    • 1 tbsp tandoori chicken masala (optional)
    • corn flour
    • maida 
    • salt to taste
    • oil for frying.

    Garlic chutney

    • 2 boiled potaoes
    • 2 tbsp curd
    • a pinch black pepper
    • 2 -3 garlic 
    • salt


    1. Make slits into the chicken pieces 
    2. Marinade chicken with all ingredients except oil, and  refrigerate for at least 3 hrs. or if not in hurry can let it stay in refrigerator for a night.
    3. Now take equal quantities of maida n cornflour and mix together.
    4. Roll the chicken pieces in maida+cornflour powder and deep fry,
    5. Let tha flame be high for 1 min and then fry on low heat.
    6. Serve with garlic chutney.

    For Garlic chutney, grind all the ingredients in a mixie and serve



    Very Good! I tried this recipe and it came out good. Tandoori chicken masala gives the chicken more flavor, so don't skip it in the recipe since it is optional. I used 3 tbsps. each corn starch and maida/all purpose flour for 1/2 cut-up chicken. I also added 1 tsp. salt to the flour and it worked out perfectly. I didn't like the garlic chutney, but again it's personal preference. I will definitely be making this dish again. Thank you!

    garlic chutney main ingredient is mayyonise instead of potatoe
