Monsoon delicious

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups of Toor dal
    • 1 cup of grated coconut
    • 1 tsp of chopped green chillies
    • 1 /4 tsp grated ginger
    • 1/4 cup of chopped corriander leave
    • 1/2 cup of finely chopped onions
    • a pinch of Hing
    • a pinch of turmeric
    • 1/2 tsp ghee
    • Salt to taste

     

    Directions

    1. Soak toordal for 3 hrs
    2. drain all the water
    3. Mix chopped green chillies, grated ginger with toor dal
    4. Grinde coarsly
    5. Mix chopped corriander leaves, chopped onions, turmeric, hing and grated coconunt and salt with coarsly ground dalmix thoroughly.
    6. Take a small lemon size of spicy dal and shape into flattened balls.
    7. Do the same for the rest of the dal.
    8. Bake as you bake for idlis (for around 15 min)
    9. Serve hot with ghee
