Crispy Fried Chicken

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    • 8 Chicken legs or you can use thighs, wings
    • 1 1/2 tbsps ginger, garlic paste
    • 2 tbsps green chilly paste
    • 2 tsps garam masala powder
    • Salt
    • 1 Lemon
    • Oil for deep frying
    • Bread crumbs
    • 1 egg


    • 4 tbsps white flour
    • 1 tsps pepper powder
    • salt
    • Mixed herbs (optional)


    1. Wash chicken and boil with 2 cups water, ginger, garlic paste, and salt. Remove from fire when little water left, add green chilly paste, lemon and garam masala powder, mix well and  keep on fire so that all the water dries up. Mix again to blend all the spices.
    2. Beat egg ,add the paste ingredients and make a thick paste, add water if necessary.
    3. Deep chicken pieces in this paste ,roll in bread crumbs and deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
    4. Serve hot with fries and salad.



    Good one. But 2 questions arise......... 1) what herbs r we talking about? 2) what to do with the paste left we get from point 1 ? i think it should be served with the fried chicken pieces in point 4
