Kesar Kaju Barfi

Cashewnut sweet

Making cashew barfi is so easy and is a tasty treat !

Ingredients vegetarian 20 servings

    • 1 kg Cashewnuts
    • 600 gms sugar
    • Pinch of saffron for orange colour
    • silver wark
    • 2 tbsp oil


    1. Soak cashewnuts for 6 hours in water.
    2. Drain , dry and grind to a fine powder.
    3. Heat oil in a pan, spoon in cashew powder and stir.
    4. Add sugar and a little saffron and orange colour.
    5. Stir till the mixture is dry.
    6. Pour out on a tray and cut into diomond shape .
