Stuffed Parathas

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    For Stuffing:

    • 2 Boiled Potatoes (mashed)
    • 1 onion (finely Chopped)
    • 1/2 cup boiled peas (slightly mashed)
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp. Ginger garlic paste
    • salt and chilli powder to taste

    For Parathas:

    • 2 cups white flour (maida)
    • 2 tbsp. wheat flour
    • 3 tbsp. oil
    • 3 tbsp. coriander leaves (if available)

    Directions

    To prepare the stuffing:

    1. Fry onions in oil till pink. Then add potatoes, peas, ginger garlic paste, salt and chilli powder. Cook on a very low heat.
    2. For parathas, make the dough hard using little water. Then roll to usual paratha (make sure the dough is thick so you don't have to use extra flour)
    3. Then add the stuffing between to parathas and press the ends.
    4. Shallow fry in a non stick pan. Serve Hot With Coriander chutney and Tea

    Hi Deepthi m fyn thank you. actually I meant that stuff the stuffing between two parathas and then press their ends...

    Hi Khushboo.. How r u? Thanks for all ur delicious recipes.. U said that we have to add the stuffings and press the ends.. Do u mean that we have to fold the paratha in half with the stuffing in between? Wil the parathas b semi circle in shape? Thanks..
