This recipe contains eggs ,but you can omit if you dont want them.Great for teatime.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 2 cups white flour (or 1 cup wheat flour and 1 cup white)
    • 1 egg (beaten)
    • Salt
    • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
    • 2 tbsps corriander leaves.
    • 3 green chillies (finely sliced).
    • 2 tbsps oil

    Directions

    1. Sift flour in a dish,add all ingredients ,mix it ,add little water to make a semi thick batter.
    2. Heat griddle ,put 1/2 tsp oil.when hot pour a ladlefull of batter and spread evenly with the back of spoon.
    3. Drizzle little oil around the sides,cook on medium heat .
    4. When one side ready, flip it to cook other side,till golden brown.
    5. Serve hot with tea, or you can even eat with thick curries.
